Perestroika was a huge success. I know that it is commonly written in newspapers that perestroika failed. This is not true. Perestroika succeeded. Just look how they portray Gorbachev in the Internet site of the daily Dziennik (Axel Springer) on 11 February 2009.
Am I joking? Absolutely not.
